Companhia Açucareira Rio Doce (CARDO)
The Companhia Açucareira Rio Doce was a sugar cane factory founded in 1948 by the Companhia Siderúrgica Belgo Mineira in Governador Valadares.
The Luxembourger Albert Heinen was the director of this sugar cane company, which produced up to 10.000 litres of Cachaça a day.
It was shut down in 1978.
