Marie Christiane Heuwert-Meyers
Marie Christiane Heuwert-Meyers was born in João Monlevade and is currently the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Rio de Janeiro.
Her family is originally from Esch-sur-Alzette and her father René Heuwert was an engineer at Belgo Mineira as well as Honorary Consul in Rio de Janeiro.
Marie Christiane is married to Pedro Meyers and is Marc André Meyers’ sister-in-law. The Heuwert-Meyers couple lives in Rio de Janeiro.
Pedro Meyers
Pedro Meyers was born in João Monlevade and is the younger brother of Marc André Meyers.
He is currently living with his wife Marie Christiane in Rio de Janeiro.

Henri Meyers & Marianne Schleich-Meyers
Henri Meyers was a Luxembourgish engineer who arrived in João Monlevade in 1939 to work at Belgo Mineira.
He met his wife Marianne Schleich during a business trip in New York in midst of war, with whom he had four children: Marc André, Pedro, Carlos and Jacques.
Henri Meyers was industrial director of the Monlevade plant in the late 1950s.
René Heuwert & Liliane Biwer-Heuwert
René and Liliane Heuwert were originally from Esch-sur-Alzette and moved to João Monlevade in 1951, where Marie Christiane was born five years later.
René Heuwert was an engineer at Belgo Mineira as well as Honorary Consul in Rio de Janeiro.
